Description
A fine pair of WWII German matching M34 saddle bags.
Issued to all mounted personnel instead of a standard backpack. Attached by a central coupling, the left hand bag was designed to carry accessories for the horse with the soldiers kit carried in the right hand bag. This could be detached and used as a backpack.
Manufactured from brown pebbled leather, the bags are a matching set and in excellent condition, both manufactured by Romer in 1941. The closing strap from the right hand bag has broken, but everything else is complete.
