Description

The Richkreis RK31 was developed for use by artillery, mortar, artillery and and machine units when deploying the MG34/42 on the Lafette mount.  It was used for measuring horizontal and vertical angles and trajectories of fire.

This is a great example. The sight is fully functional, in good condition with  clear optics. It has the green painted finish, fold out rulers in the mid section, working spirit levels and adjustment drums.

Marked H/6400, signifying presence of the graticule, and circled KF showing the set have lubrication with low-temperature grease,  so they  could still function in freezing temperatures.

The set have maker code beh, the wartime maker code for Ernst Leitz of Wetzlar.
