Description
Introduced in 1938, the fat container was introduced in 1938, for all personnel and carried in the M31 Breadbag.
This is a fine example, manufactured from two piece Bakelite in black. Both the container and lid are in excellent condition, without damage and both are marked with the embossed manufacturer logo, XO S, signifying Richard Rinker GmbH, Menden. The lid requires a single turn to remove, as all correct WWII German ones do as opposed to the multi-turn post war models.
An excellent example with minimal scratching and bright colour.
