Description
An excellent WWI German Hardshell 4″ Luger pistol holster. Bought several years ago from a collection of items left by the Germans from the occupation of the channel Isles, so would of been re-issued in WWII.
Manufactured from smooth moulded, dark brown leather, solid, complete with all original fittings. One of the belt loops has become detached from the reverse of the holster, but other than this, there is no lose stitching, with a scalloped top flap, internal tool pouch, extra magazine pocket and internal quick release pull strap. The roller buckle is complete with original closure strap. The reverse has one of its angled belt loops.
There are no clear marking visible to the holster, but the build is for a WWI issue pistol.
