Description
Introduced in December 1939, the Infantry Assault Badge in silver was awarded to officers and enlisted men of non-motorized Infantry and Mountain Infantry units, for participation in three separate Infantry assaults.
This is a die stamped, hollow backed, example, unmarked from the maker Berg and Nolte. It is alloy construction, all complete, with a crimped, soldered hinge and an extra amount of solder on the catch, from a possible repair. A nice example.
